Here are some other resources and rescues in the tristate area we would like to spotlight.

This list is not exhaustive and will be continuously updated.

Cincinnati Animal Care (CAC):
The Hamilton County Shelter. If you are a feeder or have come across a sick or injured community cat - not considered 'owned' by you or anyone else - CAC may take the cat in for veterinary care and return it to you when appropriate. You don't make an appointment, just show up with the cat. Assistance is never guaranteed, and in any case you should be aware of their hours and especially do not arrive shortly before closing time and expect immediate help. Their main shelter and home base is at 3949 Colerain Ave.  Hours are 1:00-5:30.

Large adoption center, plus The Sis & Dick Miller Wellness Clinic providing affordable spay/neuter services by appointment; a walk-in affordable wellness and preventative clinic (microchipping, FeLV and FIV testing, flea prevention, free FVRCP vaccination) on Fridays from 10am-1pm; and an affordable full-service clinic for sick and injured pets by appointment.  (513) 735-2299

Not full service, but low-cost, minimal vocation veterinary care service.  Low-cost spay/neuter one to two days per week and a low-cost vaccine/microchip clinic once per month.  (513) 748-3223
