Success Stories

Below are a few of many Success Stories. If you click on their image it will take you to their Origin post.

Franklin

Franklin's Story

This derpy boy was rescued from a local cat colony. Our partner vet was able to treat his wounds and abscess as well as neuter this amazing boy before being placed in a shelter to find a loving family.

Tinker Bell

Tinker Bell's Story

Tinker Bell was found in bad shape. When evaluated, she had a terrible URI and ear mites all the way through her eardrum. She is doing better with medication.

Louie

Louie's Story

Louie was a senior cat who had to go through a major dental extraction. After removing all of his teeth he was given a brand new life to live out his senior years with a loving foster.

 Archibald

Lord Archibald, aka Archie, was found with a wound on his tail. The community came together to make sure he had a safe place to rest while he healed.

     Crouton

“Crouton”, FKA Sir Fluff, would spend six months in medical foster, getting diagnostics, vet care, playing whack a mole with medical issues that would pop up. There were weeks early on that we didn’t think his outcome would be what we wanted, but he had a whole team behind him, determined to get him better. And they succeeded. Crouty has now been with his owner for 6 months, who also had a hand in his final journey of healing.

      Charlie

Charlie was referred to us following a neuter procedure that turned complicated and left a gaping wound that wasn't healing. This sweet boy is doing splendidly now, thanks to  his wonderful feeders, our partner vet, and his medical foster - another shining example of the “community” in our name.

         Bob

Bob's feeder had been trying to trap him for months to get him medical help. Finally, after some trapping advice from a CCN board member, Bob took the bait (catnip!). He was evaluated for a fever, resolving URI issues, and lack of appetite.
His dedicated feeders drove 40 minutes there and back, picked up supplies to foster him, and even got him to eat the first day! In the meantime he's become a loved family member.

        Inky

Inky came to us months ago as a friendly community cat with a fractured pelvis. He needed months of crate rest - not an easy ask. Thankfully we found an outstanding foster .
After Inky was cleared medically, had been neutered vaccinated and combo tested (requirements before any cat is released from our care), we reached out to our friends at League for Animal Welfare where he has begun his journey to find his very own human.
